RALEIGH EGYPT 2006-2007
A string of postseason appearances will continue again
this year under veteran coach Jimmy Adams (38 year
coaching history). A strong guard combo with (Georgia
Tech commitment)
Maurice
Miller
at the helm and another senior in Caleb Brown who is
definitely a
diamond in
the rough.
A schedule that resembles a Mitchell schedule from the
Thad era due in part to a 'Mo', give him a hand Raleigh
Egypt. It's something how having one hell of a player
with nationwide clout garnered on the summer circuit
carries over to the school in financial gleam.
Schedule includes stops at the Slam Dunk on the Beach in
Delaware, Highland Shootout in Illinois, Bass Pro
Tournament in Missouri and some major key match ups as
the likes of Liberty and so on.
Strong play from Derrick Edwards will be seriously
needed to compliment the great guard play. Sophomore
Gentry Hines,
Ben Norfleet
will contribute early in the season with another strong
bench in the making, seems like it is a continuous
process in Raleigh. This entry comes in after the
Liberty Tech game at Raleigh Egypt: freshman Robert
'Tank' Smith (6'5 - 195 lbs.,
diamond in
the rough)
will play a lot as a freshmen, junior Martin Veasey (6'2
- 185 lbs.) and senior
Derrick
Grandberry
(6'3 - 175 lbs.) will contribute extensively.
