The
Raleigh
Egypt Pharaohs

Poll for the first time since the

high school basketball season with school alumni
and 3rd year head
coach Maurice Miller at the
helm. The school has
definitely made big strides from some past
disappointing seasons with the once powerful and
postseason regular North Memphis iconic school
back on the block. With a deep and balanced roster plus an
exclusive
Under Armour season school sponsorship
respectively, with only two in the Memphis-tri-state
area. Assistant coaches on staff are
veteran Hoopers/Team Thad coach Nathan Ervin and Hoopers alumni
Pooh Man
Holmes will bring tremendous basketball
knowledge, toughness, plus valuable discipline accordingly.
Senior
Jadakiss Williams
(6'7 - 220 lbs.)
is a name you will remember and
hear all high school basketball season as being
the most athletic big man, not only on the team
but in the city while maintaining a very
high basketball IQ with major potential that is
"out the roof" as in a special format. Junior
Devonte Williams
(6'2 - 170 lbs.)
had a good summer circuit season this summer
playing
with
Team Thad
and coaches got a good glimpse of a, "diamond in
the rough" in the making at the same time.
Definitely keep an eye on this young man who
does a little of everything in strong fashion
including solid overall offensive
skills in numbers.
Sophomore
Roger McFarlane (6'4
- 175 lbs.)
who possesses a strong academic 3.8 gpa that has
translated into a high basketball IQ of the
game. Including a military background,
definitely sounds, feels, smells like a recipe
for a big boy ball player with great mobility
and a smooth stroke from all over the court in
the fold. Sophomore
Jordan Johnson (6'5
- 185 lbs.)
the most athletic player on the ball club with
elbow around the rim type action that allows the flow
of the ball game produce smooth motion during
basketball games.
Junior
Kadrian Boyce
(5'11
- 155 lbs.)
will be the leader on the court
at the guard spot
who can handle the ball in natural strong form while at
the same time is one of the best defenders on the ball
club.
Senior
Ethan Burnett
(6'5 - 190 lbs.)
is another
high energy player who has the potential to be a high
scorer on the team plays with a lot of emotion
especially around the rim that turns into garbage
points that are very valuable in the box score.
Senior
Darrell Christian
(6'2 - 155 lbs.)
has
very quick hands, awesome court vision while running the
floor that gives defenders the blues and a player that
can do a little bit of everything across the board in
solid numbers.
Raleigh
Egypt Pharaohs
will travel to Little Rock for the
8th Annual Real
Deal of the Border Classic and
play in a Friday night primetime matchup against
nationally ranked
Parkview, Arkansas Dec.
