              MEMPHIS MAGIC 2010

A great program ran by Eric 'Cowboy" Robinson and in it's 4th year of existence (Mid South Basketball Academy) has accomplished a lot from winning a national tournament last year at the Adidas Super 64 and sending three of it's players to the University of Memphis propelling Memphis to a Number 1 recruiting ranking. This years team will be another strong Memphis team representing the bluff city handily. The Magic will be led by Adonis Thomas (6'6 - 205 lbs., rivals #11) excellent overall athletic play and dynamic inside moves plus an improving outside jump shot have many schools vying for his services. Another high school counterpart at Melrose Chris Jones (5'10 - 175 lbs., rivals #36-Tennessee) via Hargrave Academy is one of the best scoring guards in the country who can do it all from drives to the rim and great outside shooting. Another strong scoring left handed guard Martavious Newby ((6'2 - 185 lbs., rivals #BTW) will be a very special player to watch this summer. Two of the best big men in the city and well coached by White Station Coach Jesus Patino: Nino Johnson (6'7 - 205 lbs., rivals #-White Station) strong postseason play will curtail into the summer months and sophomore Marvin Williams (6'7 - 215 lbs., rivals #36-Tennessee) will handle the middle and gain a lot of experience on the circuit. Another high school team mate that will lead the Spartans in 2011- Andre Hollins (6'2 - 185 lbs., rivals #73 - White Station) Only senior on the team Jakarious Bradley (6'5 - 175 lbs., rivals #36-Tennessee) will be a steal for many Division 1 programs.

Memphis Select will participate in several high profile tournaments starting with the Real Deal in the Rock April 16-18, then follow up the next weekend in Dallas at the Next Level Tournament. Other tournaments during the season and wrapping up the season in Las Vegas to defend their title in Adidas Super 64 on July 22-26 2010.

Tim Allen (6'3 - 185 lbs., rivals #-Whitehaven) athletic and strong play will contribute handily all summer long ,also teammates John Ingram (6'7 - 205 lbs., rivals #-Mitchell) versatile play, great defender in Joe Northington ((6'1 - 180 lbs., rivals #-Manassas).
