December Issue:

       Recap 12-17-2010

ECS (57) @ Cordova (37)

When I looked at the schedule and seen this interesting game between a team Hoopers staff has predicted to do very well in Division 2A, the ECS Eagles. At the same time Hoopers staff had the Wolves in an off year but with early season success District 14 AAA will be appealing. The first two quarter were the only competitive quarters with the Wolves doing pretty much what they wanted to do in the second half. Cordova lead 18-15 after the first and 28-22 at the break.

Second half was all Cordova in a low scoring affair but posted three players in double digits. Junior Craig Hill led all scorers with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Seniors Tristan Hicks at 12 points and Montavious Brown with 11 points respectively.

ECS senior and Bucknell bound Steve Kaspar led the Eagles with 12 points. Sophomore big man Kip Owens added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively.

Key Points of The Game: Cordova being a well coached team that has athletes to implement Coach Scales style of play.
